Pennine Juniors F.C. are a Rochdale based "Grass Roots" junior football / soccer club. It was founded for children (boys and girls) in 2004 by David Simmonds, Scott Forden and Martyn James. In 2005, the clubs very first team was registered with just 11 players in the North Bury Junior Under 7`s league. The club now has teams 23 teams from Under 7`s through to Under 14`s, a total of 270 players.

Pennine Juniors Footbal Club are based in Rochdale, Greater Manchester but also attract players from Heywood, Middleton, Oldham, Bury, Littleborough, Castleton, and other surrounding areas. The club utilsies the fabulous training facilities on Cardinal Langley School`s 3G astro-turf pitch and plays mini-soccer home fixtures (7-a-side) on what are regarded as the best amateur grass pitches in the North West at Hopwood Hall College, Middleton. 9-a-side fixtures are played on the excellent pitches at Mathew Moss School, Rochdale with junior football games shared between Norden School, Rochdale and Hopwood Hall, Middleton.

Pennine Juniors Football Club has a very unique policy in that every child will get at least half a game, on the proviso that both the child and parent(s) adhere to the clubs code of conduct. All officers and coaches of the club perform their duties free of charge and the club is a non-profit making organisation. Pennine Juniors Football Club therefore prides itself on keeping costs to the parents as low as possible and believes its costs are the lowest in the area.
